Plumbing help across the Las Vegas valley
Plumbing goes wrong at the worst possible time. A water heater fails the morning you have guests. A drain backs up the night before a trip. A softener quietly stops regenerating and you only notice months later when the fixtures are chalky and the coffee maker has crusted over.
Punctual Plumber Pros exists to shorten the distance between that moment and a plumber standing in your kitchen. Tell our call center what is happening and we match the job to an independent plumber working in your part of the valley, then get you on the schedule.
We are a scheduling and matching service, not the plumbing contractor. The plumber who shows up runs their own licensed business. We think saying so plainly is worth more than a badge we cannot back up.

What you actually get from us
A person, at any hour
The call center is staffed around the clock. A burst supply line at 2am is exactly when an answering machine is useless, so you get a live person instead.
Matched to the job
A slab leak, a sewer camera run and a softener swap are three different skill sets. We route the call by what the work actually needs rather than sending whoever is closest.
Every make and model
Between them, the plumbers in our network work on every major brand of water heater, tankless unit, softener, disposal and fixture on the market in southern Nevada.
Hard water is the local specialty
Las Vegas has some of the hardest water in the country. It is behind a large share of the water heater, fixture and valve failures in the valley, so we treat softeners and water treatment as core work, not an upsell.

Learn moreWhy water softeners matter this much in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has some of the hardest municipal water in the country, and it is the single biggest reason plumbing equipment here falls short of its rated life. This is published by the water district, and you can check it yourself.
- Las Vegas tap water is published at 280 parts per million as calcium carbonate, which works out to about 16 grains per gallon. (Las Vegas Valley Water District, Water Quality Summary)
- The US Geological Survey classes water above 180 milligrams per litre as very hard. Las Vegas runs at roughly 1.6 times that threshold. (USGS, Hardness of Water)
- Calcium and magnesium are the two minerals behind hard water, and the water district is clear that neither is a health risk. Hard water is an equipment and fixture problem, not a safety problem. (Las Vegas Valley Water District, Water Quality FAQs)
That is why we treat water softeners as core plumbing work rather than an add-on. Installation, repair, replacement and annual maintenance, on all makes and models.

Read the guideCommon questions
How hard is Las Vegas water exactly?
The water district publishes 280 parts per million, about 16 grains per gallon, in its water quality summary, and 291 parts per million or 17 grains per gallon on its FAQ page. The USGS threshold for very hard water is 180, so the valley is well past it either way.
Will softened water taste salty?
No. Ion exchange adds a small amount of sodium proportional to the hardness removed, far below the level you would taste. If sodium intake is a medical concern, potassium chloride is the alternative, and many homes keep one unsoftened cold tap for drinking.
Do I need a permit?
In unincorporated Clark County, yes, a water conditioning system needs a permit and an inspection whether a homeowner or a company installs it. Homes inside a city permit through that city.
Is someone really there at 3am?
The call center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so a person answers. How fast a plumber can physically reach you depends on who in the network is available and where you are in the valley, and we will be straight with you about that on the call.
Should I shut the water off before calling?
Yes, if water is actively escaping. Shutting the main is the cheapest thing anyone does all night. Then call.
Does Punctual Plumber Pros do the plumbing work?
No. We run the call center and the scheduling, and we match you with an independent plumber who does the work under their own licence and insurance. Being matched with a plumber is free to you.
Tell us what is going on
One call is all it takes. A person picks up at any hour, works out what the job actually needs, and gets you scheduled with a plumber who covers your area. There is no charge to be matched.
